A former intern, Tommy Legel became acquainted with Renaissance Financial by spending a summer learning more about the firm’s unique approach to financial advising. During that time, Tommy came to appreciate the company’s collaborative culture, its emphasis on teamwork, and its focus on crafting customized financial plans capable of anticipating a client's specific needs.
Tommy is a graduate of the University of Nebraska, where he majored in finance and economics, and has gone on to obtain his Series 7 and Series 66 registrations, and Life and Health insurance certifications since joining Renaissance full-time. It is Tommy’s goal to collaborate with a wide variety of clients as he seeks to build his book of business, but he especially enjoys assisting young professionals, families, and small business owners in the crafting of investment plans and strategies that can secure their long-term financial futures.
Born and raised in Omaha, Tommy is excited about the opportunity to start his career working in his hometown. Outside of the office, Tommy stays active by working out and playing golf, beach volleyball, pickleball, slow-pitch softball, and any other sport with an opening at his local rec league.
