Sam’s passion to help people can be seen in his dedicated client service and creative financial strategies. Sam enjoys working with a wide array of clients including families, small business owners, executives, and pre-retirees.
During his time at Renaissance Financial, Sam has received many accolades including being awarded the Securian Financial Services Top Achiever Award1 in 2020 and a five-time recipient of the Securian Financial Services Excellence in Performance Award2 in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. He is a two-time qualifier for the Achiever Club4 in 2019 and 2020. He also qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table4 in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022.
Sam graduated from Doane University as student-athlete where he studied business and played Guard on the Tigers Football Team. He holds his Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Agent License as well as his Series 66 and 7 registrations.
Outside of work, Sam likes to play guitar, golf at unique courses, and expand his already comprehensive wine knowledge. Sam currently volunteers for the Teammates mentoring program and enjoys supporting the Omaha community where he was raised.

4Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) is an independent membership organization of life insurance and financial service professionals. Membership levels are based on commissions, premiums, or fees generated within a year from investment and insurance products. Members must apply annually and pay a fee. Members must also adhere to the MDRT Code of Ethics.
*Recognition Credits represent the combined total of Sales Based Credits** and Bonus Points***.
**Sales Based Credits (SBCs) are a recognition currency that rewards new sales activity by: 1. Annualizing the credit generated by the sale of most life insurance products. 2. Providing credit when deposits are made into investment advisory accounts rather than waiting for the quarterly fees. 3. Providing credit for all other first year Grid Revenue, when earned.
