In regard to his areas of expertise, Nathan finds fulfillment in collaborating with nonprofit organizations to engage with their donors around creative charitable giving strategies with an emphasis on tax efficiency for donors. By helping donors align their generosity with effective planning techniques, they support both the causes they care about and their broader tax planning initiatives. In addition to his work with nonprofits, Nathan specializes in guiding pre-retirees through the complexities of retirement planning, with a focus on optimizing income sources and creating lasting financial security. He also works extensively with business owners, recognizing the importance of aligning personal and business planning for long-term success.
Nathan graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. His expertise is also enhanced by his completion of the CFP® Certification Education Program through the American College of Financial Services, and subsequent designation conferment by the CFP® Board. He is proud and honored to be a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, often reiterating that he decided to pursue the designation because he thought he owed it to his clients to be the best financial advisor he can be. Additionally, Nathan holds his Life, Health, and Insurance Agent license, FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 registrations, is a Certified Social Security and Medicare Specialist, and has earned the Certification in Long-Term Care (CLTC®) designation from the CLTC® Board of Standards.
Outside of business, Nathan is actively involved in volunteer efforts with the HALO Foundation, contributing to their professional development program for homeless youth. Through resume building, interview practice, and career exploration workshops, he helps equip young people with tools for meaningful careers.
He is an avid traveler, with Istanbul, Turkey or Sydney, Australia being his favorite destinations thus far. A lifelong learner, he enjoys reading—particularly books on psychology, self-improvement, and history. Nathan also has a passion for classic films, often quoting favorites such as The Dark Knight, Good Will Hunting, A Few Good Men, and The Shawshank Redemption.
