As a father of three, Matt is focused on helping his clients prepare for the future. He understands the importance of navigating from being newlyweds to raising a family to gearing up for retirement. He will work diligently through all of the details and help make sure that the financial strategy in place is in the optimal position for each individual client. Utilizing a variety of tools such as life insurance, disability insurance, annuities and investments, Matt strives to make sure that you, your family or your business are prepared for the future.
To prepare for his career path as a financial advisor, Matt attended Truman State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. He then went on to attain his Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Agent license, as well as his Series 7, 63 and 65 registrations. Matt continues to stay up to date within the financial industry and has received both the Certified Fund Specialist® (CFS®) and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designations.
Matt achieved the status of being a Senate Club¹ member in 2017 as well as being a member of Chairman’s Club² in 2018 within Securian Financial Services, Inc. Within Renaissance, he became a Shareholder in 2015 and was also the recipient of the company’s Tom Hercules Award³, which is presented to the team member who displays integrity, generosity, leadership, and commitment, both personally and professionally. In 2016, Matt became a Platinum Advisor and in 2023 he was named a Diamond Advisor for the firm for his overall performance.
Working with Matt you will find that he is dedicated and puts 100 percent into everything he does. While supporting the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition, he helped found the FACC Junior Board and served as financial officer for three years. Matt was proud to serve on the Board of Governor’s for the Missouri Athletic Club from 2019-2022 and helping them navigate through Covid as the head of their Finance Committee. He spent four years playing collegiate soccer but now enjoys watching his two daughters compete nationally on the tennis court and son on the soccer field. Matt and his wife, Ashley, proudly call Kirkwood, MO home. There, they raise their beautiful daughters, Emerey and Adelyn, along with their little brother, Brady. As a family man, you can be assured that Matt appreciates your financial goals and will strive to help you reach them.
