Jon Ogren has been in the retirement business for 28 years and brings that same depth of experience in retirement plan sales and service to his work at Renaissance Financial. Known by many clients as a “401(k) Mechanic,” Jon is a trusted professional who helps plan sponsors design, maintain, and optimize the retirement vehicles their employees rely on for decades. His hands-on approach and deep knowledge make him a valuable resource for organizations seeking long-term financial wellness for their teams.
Jon is passionate about helping employers create retirement plans that not only meet fiduciary standards but also foster positive saving and investing behaviors among employees. He especially enjoys collaborating with plan sponsors who genuinely care about their employees and are committed to helping them succeed.
A graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Finance, Jon holds his Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Agent license and is registered with Series 7 and 63. He is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®), Certified 401(k) Professional (C(k)P®), and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®). In 2025, he became a shareholder in Renaissance Financial.
Jon is active in his community and has served on the board of Blessings Abound, a nonprofit supporting those in need in the greater Kansas City area. He has also been a youth baseball coach and commissioner at Blue Valley Recreation.
Jon lives in Overland Park, KS, with his wife, Gina. Their son, Austin, is a mechanical engineer at Honeywell, and their daughter, Alex, recently graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Marketing.
