Jesse Schmidt joined Renaissance Financial because of the firm’s commitment to putting clients first. Specializing in strategies for funding retirement and college, he enjoys working with young couples, pre-retirees, small business owners and anyone who wants to better their financial life.
Jesse brings to Renaissance Financial four years of experience in the financial industry and 10 years of customer service experience, Jesse has worked as a personal banker, a 529 plan representative, and a retirement plan specialist where he answered questions related to retirement accounts. After graduating from Doane University in Crete, NE, Jesse went on to obtain his FINRA Series 6, 7, and 66 registrations as well as his Life and Health Insurance license. In 2025, he became a shareholder in Renaissance Financial, a reflection of his leadership and long-term commitment to the firm.
Outside of work, Jesse is an active member of his church, CBMC (Christian Business Men's Connection) in Lincoln, and a tennis club. He was born in South Carolina where his father, a Marine, was stationed at Parris Island. Jesse grew up south of Lincoln, NE. He now lives with his wife, Paige, in Bennet, NE, and their three children, Theodore, Calvin, and Eliza. On his property in Bennet, you can find him tending to his bees and chickens.
