Originally from Edmond, Oklahoma, Gilbert Velez earned a B.B.A. in Finance, a B.A. in Spanish, and a Minor in Real Estate from the University of Notre Dame. His professional experience includes internships with Nationwide Financial and Oklahoma Financial Center, where he developed a strong foundation in financial services and client-focused planning.
Gilbert was drawn to Renaissance Financial because of its independent fiduciary model and commitment to developing professionals who build lasting client relationships. He is passionate about providing personalized guidance and education, believing that every individual's goals, challenges, and opportunities are unique and deserve a tailored approach.
Now based in Maplewood, Missouri, Gilbert is active in young adult Catholic formation and service initiatives and participates in the Notre Dame Club of St. Louis. Outside of work, he enjoys weightlifting, running, exploring new restaurants, and spending time outdoors, especially hiking and connecting with nature.
