We proudly joined the United Fantasy Flight with Shadow Buddies Foundation, supporting children with illnesses and disabilities. 50 children and their families had a memorable day filled with games, crafts, and gifts from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Led by Tanner Coble, a board member of Shadow Buddies Foundation, the Kansas City office volunteered to ensure the day was truly magical.

St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. To support in the efforts of advancing cures and means of disease prevention in children, Renaissance Financial has proudly joined St. Jude in their mission by raising over $50,000 for the cause and volunteering at the Walk/Run Event on Saturday, September 21st.

Renaissance Financial joined the CHADs Coalition for Mental Health’s 3rd Annual Illumination Ball to raise funds in support of their mission to provide programs to advance the awareness and prevention of depression and suicide. The Renaissance team enjoyed an evening of live music, an auction and great food while experiencing how CHADs helps our community.

Renaissance Financial joined the American Red Cross in Omaha for the 9th Annual blood drive honoring Blake. This year they had 31 donors, saving up to 93 lives. Renaissance Financial joined the World Pediatric Project’s 5th Annual Rock N’ Heal to raise funds in support of their mission to provide healthcare to critically ill children around the world. To celebrate and support the World Pediatric Project, the Renaissance team enjoyed local food samplings, a live and silent auction, and great music.

We joined Big Brothers Big Sisters-Lincoln for their annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake. This event supports the life-changing work of the organization carefully matching children with caring adult mentors. Kyle Miller and his team, “Millertime”, had a blast supporting this great cause. Proceeds go towards providing ongoing support to the child, volunteer mentor, and the child’s family.

In honor of Renaissance Financial’s own Katie Scott, friends and family come together for the Annual Katie Scott Inspired American Red Cross Blood Drive. With donors in Kansas City, St. Louis, Atlanta, Phoenix, and Denver, the Renaissance family donates around 245 pints of blood saving around 738 lives! Thank you to everyone who continues to participate and made the day such a success.

Team Snow Much Fun of Renaissance Financial took part in the Polar Plunge, February 9, benefiting Special Olympics Nebraska Inc. Teams of plungers (many in costume) take the brave challenge of jumping into the lake in the middle of winter after collecting pledges from family and friends. Our crew almost tripled the amount raised the last time we participated and raised $1,700.

Renaissance Financial got into the holiday spirit once again and sponsored UNMC's Children’s Christmas Party. With the donations received from the Renaissance Foundation and the time volunteered by Renaissance Financial, gifts were purchased for the kids and their siblings who have to spend the holiday season in the hospital. The Omaha crew played the part of Santa’s elves and wrapped presents for St. Nick himself to deliver to the children.

We were proud to sponsor this year’s United Fantasy Flight with the Shadow Buddies Foundation. For the first time in 18 years, Shadow Buddies, a non-profit organization that supports children with severe illnesses and disabilities, was able to take 51 children to the “North Pole.” Led by Tanner Coble, the Kansas City office held a toy drive and helped volunteer. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, each child received five gifts.

Renaissance Financial is proud to be a local sponsor of the JDRF One Walk® in Omaha. Renaissance’s T1D Avengers joined forces with Sofia Pantano’s Llama Ninjas to create a group of 60 walkers on a mission of creating a world without type 1 diabetes. In doing so, the teams together raised over $18,000 to support life-changing breakthroughs that give hope to everyone impacted by type one diabetes.

Our Phoenix crew teamed with the Ronald McDonald House Charities Phoenix® to host a home-cooked Mexican style meal for families returning to the Houses after a tiresome day at the hospital or clinic. Visit Ronald McDonald’s meal calendar for more information or to sign up for an upcoming date.

We participated as sponsors at the Annual Angels Among Us golf fundraiser. They “tee’d” up with the organization to financially assist families facing pediatric cancer diagnosis. Over the last 12 years, Angels Among Us has helped nearly 370 families with expenses totaling more than $1.4 million. This event raised $68,000 towards those efforts.

Renaissance Financial joined Big Brothers Big Sisters in their 2018 Bowl for Kids’ Sake Event. Renaissance collected over $10,000 in donations to put towards the ongoing support of children, their families and volunteer mentors. We bowl with our teammates at Big Brother Big Sisters because we believe that “no one, especially children, should ever feel alone.”
